This was my first experience in a hostel travelling solo and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The location is perfect for when you want to be close to town, (especially) the beach, and if you prefer to be in a more local and chill area. I felt very safe walking alone at night, and the people in the neighbourhood are so friendly. The hostel looks like the pictures, and has a very welcoming and cosy vibe. There are plenty of common spaces to hang out (including a roof terrace with an amazing view both at day and night!!!). The kitchen has good facilities and there is a washing machine to use (against a small cost). The room I stayed in was spacious enough for everyone's stuff and the bed was comfortable. The road can be noisy, but thanks to the double-glazed doors (closing them at night cancels out the noise) and some earplugs, I slept like a baby. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived late and received clear instructions for the check-in. I got some nice recommendations for places to visit in the area, and I had the most amazing and interesting conversations with Johnny, the hotel manager! Thank you so much for this lovely experience, I will be back soon <3.

I don't know why this place is being rated with only 8,2 when it deserves to be rated much higher. It has everything, and it's beautiful. The beds are extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby even though we had a roommate who snored so hard. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is enough space for everyone. You can get a locker for free, you get a towel for free, you get a hair dryer for free. We need to be grateful for the fact we don't need to pay anything extra because the price is already so cheap. The check-in process was smooth, just make sure to mention your arrival time to the staff. The location is distant from the city center, but it still does not matter because there would be a bus every time I stepped outside. Also, if you want to go to Nerja, which I recommend, the bus stops nearby the accommodation. Last but not least - explore the neighborhood, it is beautiful, safe and peaceful. Also, the beach is much more beautiful than the public beach in Malaga.

The hostel La Moraga de Poniente is pretty cool. I've felt very welcomed and safe there through my whole stay, which is great coming from a female solo traveller. The beds are comfortable and you're able to have a bit of privacy due to the curtains. The staff is amazing, especially the hostel manager Jonny, with whom you can have very great and wise conversations. Moreover, the hostel is pretty clean with a good kitchen, which has everything you need. It's a great place to socialize with like-minded people. The location in the Pedregalejo / El Palo neighborhood is pretty nice, because those are the more local neighborhoods of Málaga. Near to the hostel you can easily find a Mercadona and lots of other shops and bakeries to buy food and daily groceries. Also, the beach is pretty close to the hostel, you just have to go down the street, perfect for watching the sunset every evening. Furthermore the hostel offers a bike rental service.

Jonnhy is a ray of sunshine 🌝🌞 ! Good energy and so friendly and welcoming 😁😂 ! The localisation is a perfect place (next to the beach, 2 min to Mercadona and to the beach) also to the station bus. All is really clean and new ! Very confortable room (there is a big terrace in the room and we can see the sea, conforable bed with curtains, locker is really safe, towel is included), bathroom and kitchen are really clean and equipped... It's the best hostel in Málaga 😍 And the big rooftop is Amazing 🤗🏖💙 Library also 📚 I extended my stay for 1 week more 😋💙💙💙💙🌸📚🏖 because I love the vibe 💙🏖 Also, there is a washing machine for 2€ and an another terrace to dry the clothes and 1 terrace to eat 😁 Thank you so much you are the best 🏖🌝

It's a comfortable place to stay. A very small hostel only about 10 rooms accommodating varying numbers. It's a 15-20 bus ride out of Malaga. 20 mins taxi from airport. The bus is 2 mins walk from the hostel. €1.40 to Malaga. Loads to see and do there! Recommend the Alcazabar.. it's like a mini Alhambra but only €3.50! Not able to use beach due to the debris washed up by the floods. We chose the hostel because it was advertised as close to the beach. One day we had floods when we stayed but we were on the 1st floor. Great roof terrace to soak up the sun! Not a huge hostel but definitely a good way to meet new people!
